Victoria Airport applies for grant to redesign terminal building

Officials at the Victoria Regional Airport are looking to redesign the terminal building to better reflect and service the Victoria community. They are doing this through the acquisition of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant.

Through continued support from the county and reception of the grant, Victoria's airport could see a major structural change.

The airport provides 272 community members with jobs and brings in $42.3 million in revenue annually. Enplanements at the airport have gone up drastically, crossing the required 10,000 enplanements to increase guaranteed funding from the FFA from 150,000 to 1.3 million.
