Goliad is the located in South Central Texas just 75 miles from the Port of Corpus Christi. The City of Goliad is the County Seat of Goliad County and is steeped in Texas history. The Goliad Massacre in 1836 is the most infamous of all episodes in the Texas Revolution. Goliad is the smallest town in Texas to be selected for the Main Street Program in 1984 and the Courthouse Square Historic District is one of the most complete examples of early Texas Settlements.
