Shopping app hits Seguin in time for holidays

Small Business Saturday and the Christmas shopping season just got more rewarding in Seguin.

The Seguin Economic Development Corporation and the city partnered with local businesses to offer a new shop-local app, Open Rewards, that offers cash back at more than 125 restaurants and retail businesses across the city. The app and program should prove beneficial to merchants and consumers, said Tess Coody-Anders, owner of Pecantown Books and Brews.
