Green Valley SUD unveils new $21M headquarters

Back in 1963 when Green Valley Special Utility District started, its founders established water connections for about 150 customers.

In the 60 years since, the district has grown to provide sewer service on top of the water service it delivers through 17,000 connections, General Manager Pat Allen said. The rise in customers came with the tremendous, ongoing growth of the seven-community area it serves and led for a need to expand, he said.
