Yorktown welcomes two new businesses

Two new businesses were honored by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Sept. 25 with ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
BBQ Cafe and Kristin’s Kookie House and Boutique were welcomed to the community with cheers, conversations, and celebrations.
Located at 252 Highway 72, BBQ Cafe owners Sharamee and Donnie Trisdale are quite new to the Yorktown area.
“We came with the oil field eight or ten years ago,” said Sharamee during an interview, “and once we got to the area, we decided we love it here. Love the people, love the community–everything about the area.”
