CUERO REGIONAL HOSPITAL TO CELEBRATE 50 YEARS

The 50-year mark is a milestone for anything. Cuero Regional Hospital (CRH) will soon be able to add themselves to that half-century list this fall, as they first opened their doors on Sept. 8, 1970. Simply put, much has changed since their first patient was admitted.
Cuero Nursing Officer Judy Krupala remembers when this small town had three hospitals: Burns Hospital, Cuero Hospital Foundation (CHF) and the orthopedic hospital. “The one at Cuero Foundation was in big disrepair,” Krupala said.
