Seguin is now ‘film friendly’

The film crews, lights and cameras can start rolling in.

The Texas Film Commission officially declared Seguin a Film Friendly Texas certified community — making it a part of a Texas film community made up of more than 100 cities.

A small crew from NBC’s “Revolution” were back at Seguin’s Aumont Hotel on for some exterior work for visual effects shots, but it wasn’t as big a production as it was in November, pictured above, when the cast and crew actually shot scenes at the hotel on Feb. 15, 2014.
