Best Western coming to La Vernia

Howdy, Partners! Yep, it’s rodeo time and it also means the La Vernia Junior Livestock & Poultry Show is right around the corner, taking place March 1-3 at the La Vernia Chamber of Commerce. It’s impressive to see the hard work and dedication our youth put into their projects, ranging from rabbits to baked cookies; it is something to see. Please come out and support the future leaders of tomorrow!

We are a step closer to having a hotel finally, as at last week’s city council meeting, a Special Use Permit was granted for a Best Western Plus to be located behind the Auto Zone in the La Vernia Crossing complex. Adding this to our community has taken several years and many meetings with potential developers, and we finally have one wanting to invest in our city.
