Seguin Library Design wins best in State of Texas

One of the city’s newest buildings recently received recognition as the best in the state.

The Seguin Public Library — a Byrne Construction Services project — won the Best of Texas Award for Government and Public Buildings through the Engineering News-Record (ENR).

“We’ve entered this award several times, but Seguin is one of those projects that we’ve looked at and we knew immediately we were going to enter it into multiple awards,” Byrne Construction Services Director of Marketing Chad Anderson said. “The design is a striking design and we also had a really good group of contractors, but we knew this was going to be a winner from the very beginning.”

The library’s unique features are what drove Byrne Construction to enter it into the contest, he said.  READ MORE...
