LaVernia Library to Open

The Jane Yelvington McCallum La Vernia Library will open to patrons Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Named for a Texas suffragist leader who was born in La Vernia and became the Texas secretary of state (see below), the library is housed in the La Vernia News office, at 112 E.
