Officials get firsthand look at Seguin Public Library’s next chapter

Wearing hard hats and neon vests, city officials were granted access to venture behind the gates to the new library in downtown Seguin on Tuesday.
“The public library will be a state-of-the-art, 21st century building,” Devin Fitspatrick from Byrne Construction Services said. “It’s going to serve the public for the next several generations as a meeting space, as a space to learn and acquire new skills, as well as reading and finding a quiet space.”
Fitspatrick led Mayor Don Keil and other council members on a tour of the building Tuesday morning.
Keil said because of it’s location, he believes it’ll be easy to find and help draw in the crowds. READ MORE...
