Yorktown is a rural community with charm, a strong historical perspective, rich in tradition and proud of its heritage.  Thousands of visitors descend on the community annually for the Western Days Texas Music Festival.   This rural community is located in DeWitt County where Eagle Ford Shale Oil & Gas activity is abundant.  Yorktown is located 45 miles from the Port of Victoria and 100 miles from the Port of Corpus Christi.
