Named one of the best places to live by Money Magazine Schertz is strategically located on the Interstate 10 and Interstate 35 corridors at the northeast gateway to San Antonio adjacent to Randolph Air Force Base.  The City’s proximity and access to San Antonio, Austin and Houston has fueled its fast-paced growth.  Over the past four years five Fortune 100 companies have chosen to make major investments in Schertz.  General Electric, Caterpillar, FedEx, Amazon.com and Sysco have collectively invested over half a billion dollars in capital and constructed 3 million square feet of space in Schertz. 

MISSION - To grow the Schertz economy through Projects. Specifically, we pursue Projects that focus on the creation/retention of Primary Jobs and Infrastructure Improvements.
