Shiner, Texas is the self-proclaimed “Cleanest Little City in Texas”.  Located in western Lavaca County at the intersection of U.S. Highway 90A and State Highway 95 – 127 miles from Houston, 90 miles from San Antonio and 50 miles from Victoria, Texas.  Settled by Czech and German immigrants this agricultural community produces dairy and beef cattle, cotton and corn and is home to the Spoetzl Brewery where they ship more than 6 million cases of custom-labeled Shiner Beer across the country each year.
