Cuero Regional Hospital Celebrates 50TH Anniversary
Thursday, September 17, 2020
To encapsulate what a single entity has meant to a community over the past half-century might seem like a fool’s errand. Words cannot properly illustrate the lives touched and impacted by the works of Cuero Regional Hospital since its inception in 1970.
Last Tuesday, Sept. 8, a time capsule burial ceremony was held to remember the hospital’s past while looking to the future. Hospital CEO Lynn Falcone, Cuero Mayor Sara Post Meyer, Dr. Dan Dugi, and Dr. Raymond Reese offered their own words to reflect on the last 50 years with a recurring theme of caring. The time capsule, donated by Ful-O-Pep of Cuero, contains photos and mementos contributed by staff and physician leaders over the past 50 years.
