Study says music industry added 2,000 permanent jobs in Texas last year

The Texas music industry is striking the right chord with the state's economy.
A study claims the industry added 2,000 permanent jobs to the Lone Star State last year. That raises the total number of music-related careers in Texas to nearly 97,000.
Governor Greg Abbott says that helped raise about $390 million in tax revenues in 2018.
