This city near San Antonio is the second-fastest growing in the U.S.

New Braunfels passed San Marcos on the list of fastest-growing cities in the U.S., according to Census Bureau numbers just released.
At a 6.6 percent growth rate, New Braunfels was No. 2 in the nation from July 2014 to July 2015, topping 70,000 in population. Georgetown, north of Austin, was No. 1 among cities above 50,000 people.
But in actual numbers, bigger cities like San Antonio continue to draw more people. It was No. 4 on the list of U.S. cities for numeric gains, adding more than 29,000 people for the year ending July 1, 2015, reaching 1.47 million.
