Our Communities

The City of Moulton is “The Friendliest Little City with a Heart as Big as Texas” and is located just 10 mile south of Interstate Highway 10 in Lavaca County, Texas.  The Moulton area was a favorite site for early Czech and German immigrants and their unique influence is still present today.  This area is also home to Rocky Creek Maze at Chaloupka Farm.  This 8-acre maze draws visitors from all of Central/South Central Texas during the fall season.

Gonzales County, located on the eastern side of GVEC’s service territory, is currently ranked as the 11th largest calf and cattle producing county in the nation. Just one example of the quality operations continually growing here is Graham Cattle Company located in Gonzales, TX. Graham boasts the capacity to handle 45,000 head of cattle.
